MASKS ARE REQUIRED AT ALL TIMES FOR ALL PEOPLE ON SCHOOL GROUNDS

PLEASE REMEMBER TO STAY HOME IF YOU HAVE ANY OF THESE SYMPTOMS:

Fever or chills • Cough • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing • Fatigue • Muscle or body aches • Headache • New loss of taste or smell • Sore throat • Congestion or runny nose • Diarrhea • Nausea or vomiting

It is important to screen your student for these symptoms every morning before school.

DISTRICT VACCINE/TESTING REQUIREMENT:

All students must complete the form reporting their vaccination or exemption status by 11/30/21. SCUSD is also posting school site and community vaccination clinic opportunities on the website.
Students Aged 11 or Younger
SCUSD does not currently require this age group to be vaccinated. All you need to do by Tuesday, November 30th is:

  • Submit the student form at scusd.edu/reportvaccine, selecting the “Not Yet Required (age 11 or under)” option.
  • Register your student (if not yet fully vaccinated) for COVID-19 testing at scusd.edu/covid-19-testing. NOTE: You only need to register and consent for COVID-19 testing one time a year. If you have already registered your student there are no further steps required.

Students Aged 12 or Older

SCUSD requires vaccination. Some exemptions may apply. All you need to do by Tuesday, November 30th is:

  • Complete the student form at scusd.edu/reportvaccine and submit your student’s vaccination record or valid exemption.
  • Register your student (if not yet fully vaccinated) for COVID-19 testing at scusd.edu/covid-19-testing. NOTE: You only need to register and consent for COVID-19 testing one time a year. If you have already registered your student there are no further steps required.

MORNING DROP OFF & AFTERNOON PICK UP:

In an attempt to keep everyone safe and keep traffic moving, please remember the following:

  • Please pull over all the way next to the sidewalk and do not let students out
in the middle of the street.
  • Students may not get into cars that are double parked or in the middle of
the street. We do not want students to be hit by a car.
  • Please do not do U-turns in the middle of the street. I have seen many
near accidents and it also holds up traffic in both directions.
  • Please stay out of the red zone. This area is for the bus and daycare vans.
  • Please drive slowly and exercise patience/respect during drop off and pick
up time. School staff is trying to ensure the safety of everyone during these
    times.
  • Please use the crosswalk when crossing the street.
  • Please do not go around cars and drive in the opposite lane of traffic.
